Managed to death. horses and mankind

Everyone has heard of the “bread basket of the world” Our Great Plains were once inhabited by the great herbivores and their predictors. Horses ripping the barks off the forests trampling the land bringing insects, birds and meat eaters. Ultimately creating the most fertile land on earth. So lets manage them so we can decide what works best. Oil pipelines, drilling, development We are desperate and dependent on oil yet 100 years ago we had no oil and horses 100 years from now we will have no oil or horses. BELIEVE it. There is nothing that will replace oil except a life style as it was before oil. Thanks BLM for ending human existence. Then maybe the few horses left can again breed in vast numbers and remake the land as they once did.

Nitro has an infection in his knee. Seems he might have been kicked by the pony. He's in a lot of pain and generally likes to rest his head on my shoulder to help take weight off it.

Past, present, future

Capitalism is dependent on energy, can’t have one without the other. BUT once it takes one barrel of oil to get one barrel of oil it’s over. We’re drilling 5 miles deep in the Gulf of Mexico and fouling the west for a reason the survival of this system. YET sooner or later it will take one barrel to get one barrel. Then what? There is NO magic bullet. 100 years ago we had no oil and horses. 100 years from now we will have no oil or horses. Part of the future will be found in the past before oil, unfortunately getting there will be much tougher then getting here. We may have to carry the load on our backs.

CEO'S

NO CEO can report a loss to the shareholders due to the corporations responsibility to clean its environmental mess. NO, the CEO must report a profit even if it must let loose cancer causing agents on the citizens. It succeeds by buying the politicians, and public opinion by playing off the environment against economic growth. We have traded our health and wellbeing so shareholders can earn a profit on money most of us don't have in the first place. In the end man made cancer dose level the playing field.

For some the death of a cow brings a profit so the death of a horse becomes insignificant in the process. Death brings profit. Armies scourge the world to gather profit. The world is consumed from the top of the mountains to the depths of the oceans for profit. Our entire culture is profit based. Every judge protects capital, every politician echos the words JOBS and GROWTH. Profit trumps all. Even Wild Mustangs reap millions in profit for some. BUT why is it though that someones right to profit always wins out over our right to a soul?
